“Life is hard, lets walk through tough times together”

Welcome. I really Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, my name is Sade Dada,

I offer individual or couples counselling in Rochester, Kent and online. I use an integrative model of therapy which means that I incorporate various modalities tailored to the individual needs of the client. I believe lives can be transformed, restored and renewed and one way this can be achieved is through the process of counselling.

I know how hard it can be to reach out when you need help. I understand a problem can become so large that it takes over most of our lives. It can be something from the past or a current situation that we are unable to move beyond.

I understand we may feel stuck and overwhelmed sometimes. I understand we may know that something needs to change, but don’t know how to make that change happen. I believe that change is possible when we are ready, but sometimes we need help. I know all of these because I have been on this journey myself at some point.

Please contact me if you would like to arrange a counselling session in Rochester, Kent or online.

Supporting You

Counselling can mean different things to different people but in general, it is a process people seek when they want to change something in their lives, or simply explore their thoughts and feelings in more depth.

I have a passion for supporting, walking with my clients through their problems, seasons in life and helping them become stronger, happier, more self-aware, and more resilient individuals or as a couple.

As an integrative, creative, therapist I work in a sensitive and supportive way, drawing on a range of counselling theories and interventions.

My aim is to offer you a fresh perspective, equip you to make the changes you want in your life, find a greater sense of peace, and build resilience as you move forward into your future.

I am committed to developing a warm, safe relationship with you, in which to help you explore and process the different challenges, past and/or present that may be hindering you, confusing you or causing you pain at this time without judgement.

I will work with you with whatever you bring, together developing the knowledge and insight that leads to understanding and enables change. I don't expect you to fit the therapy; I expect the therapy to fit you and will develop an intervention based upon your specific needs and wishes.

Services

I am currently working face to face or online via Zoom, a video platform. I offer an open-ended number of sessions and these can be weekly, fortnightly, or less often, depending on your needs and situation. For some people short-term work is ideal while others will gain great benefit from working for longer periods. However, we usually recommend 6 sessions initially and to review this together after the 6th session. You can choose to stop the sessions at any time.

You are welcome to book a free 15-20 minute exploratory ZOOM call with me. This gives us a chance to get a sense of each other and for you to ask any question you would like to know about the process and to discuss any practical issues.

There is no obligation for you to enter into therapy with me should you choose to do this, in fact the most important thing is that you find a therapist you like and feel comfortable with. I offer appointments at a variety of times throughout the week, please contact me for further details.

What My Clients Say...

“I loved every session with Folashade and took away so much. It was incredible how much we covered in our sessions and felt so seen and met by Folashade. I am really grateful to have had you as my therapist and I hope we can work together again in the future! XX”

“The sessions I have had with Shade have helped me get my relationship back on track and I couldn’t have done it without her expertise and guidance! I didn’t realise how much therapy would help me, however I have come away with skills that will help me throughout my life! Thank you Sade!!”

“Folashade has helped me a lot in my journey back into work after maternity leave. It was a very challenging time and very conflicting for me in my way of thinking. Through these sessions and speaking to Folashade, she supported and allowed me to process my thoughts to help me get back on track and for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you.”

“There has been a significate improvement in my communication skill. I am now more aware and understand myself and can identify my own needs. I am now able to manage situations and set boundary. I feel more confident in myself personally and as a parent. I feel confident with my decision making. I feel more at peace and in control, of what I can only control. I am happy. Sade, I and my family thank you for walking with me. I value your help and support. I appreciate all you have done for me. Thank you from the depth of my heart.”

“Sade made me feel free to discuss my feelings with her. When I started my sessions with her I was really low but through her sessions I am much better now. She is an excellent listener and understood my needs. She went out (of) her way to hear me out. I would highly recommend her. She also shared with me resources in terms of books and tools that continue to be useful for me. I feel less depressed - able to sleep much better and more - had closure about my issue - able to relay my thoughts to my wife.”

“My mental health has improved drastically since starting counselling. Having somebody that I feel comfortable in confiding in has helped me release a lot of pent up feelings and made me feel more relaxed. It has also helped me navigate my teenage years with resilience, knowing that things do get better with time. I have issues communicating my feelings and setting boundaries, and counselling has really helped me improve that aspect of my life. Counselling with Sade has honestly saved my life.”
